LA/OC HELP (Los Angeles & Orange County HELP)

- What to expect: Monthly meetings with discussions, guest speakers, and small group sessions. They have a medical advisor on staff and have been serving the LA community for years.
Orange County HELP meets on the first Friday of each month and is run by the same organization. If you’re in the OC area, same phone number: (310) 845-6656.
Social groups and meetups
Los Angeles H Meetup Group. Sponsored by LAHELP.org, this group goes beyond support meetings. They organize coffee meetups, dinners, hikes, museum visits, and even national weekend trips. It’s a great way to build friendships with people who understand what you’re going through. Find them on Meetup.com.
Sunshine Support Group. A smaller, welcoming group focused on creating a safe space to connect with others living with herpes in the LA area.
Clinical resources in Los Angeles
LA County Department of Public Health. The HIV and STD Programs division provides STI information, testing, and referrals. While they don’t host support groups directly, they can connect you with community resources.
Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. Multiple locations across LA offering STD testing, education, and counseling. Call 1-800-576-5544.
