Payne is such a good teacher it's one that we'd rather not have thank you very much but payne is a damn good teacher hi I'm adriel creator of the herpes opportunity which is all about positively shifting your mindset disclosing to potential partners in a way that truly connects you and ultimately finding the love that you want and deserve now you can check out the free ebook linked in the description below about having the talk and now onto the video I hope you enjoy it because anxiety that it'll close up your airways it like it it constricts everything it makes it harder to breathe anyway yeah in going deeper into this there's a few things I want to say one is the how pain is such a good teacher it's one that we'd rather not have thank you very much but pain is a damn good teacher right and all of the pain that you have gone through specifically around anxiety it sounds like you're you're empowering yourself to realize how much of that is self-inflicted and how little of that was actually due to the situations in your life that warranted anxiety right and ...

... that in that way you're like oh wait this is unhealthy not only is it unhealthy if I keep doing this to myself then I'm going to keep going through that pain that I don't want to go through so it's like the the you're getting these tastes of if you start to go down that rabbit hole of anxiety again it's like you taste what's on the other end of that you taste that pain like oh wait hold on before I even hop on this on this subway train I don't want to go where that's headed so I'm not going to jump on the train you know and realizing that you actually do have the power to jump on that train or not like that thought train if we want to get rid of something anger makes it hold on even tighter so how can you start relating to to the anxiety monster the worry monster in this new way so there's a there's an indirect proportion to like the less conscious you are the more that unconscious worry monster comes in to protect you as you increase your consciousness the worry monster doesn't really have a reason to protect you anymore because you're there it's almost like this old night that and you're the king right and this old knight has been around your whole life he's like in his seventies now he has rusted armor ...

... and he's like huh I got you back I got your back and you're like all right all right you know you got you have compassion for the old man you know what I mean like he's he's had your back all your life man he might still even see you as a kid so you have to remind him whenever he comes back up with his rusty sword I got you I got you you're like all right all right all right old man let me put my let me put my arm around you thank you I see that you really give a it was like oh my god like this part of me really loves me he's just he's just old and senile so in relating to him in this different way it's like oh you get to reintegrate him because all of these different board members that we've been talking about you know obviously the the worry monster or this night this old night is kind of the biggest one that we've been talking about but all of these different characters in our cast of characters in our boardroom they're obviously all parts of us duh but like when we try to banish one part of us it's like we're saying that's not me but it's like what if it is me and it's just confused I like the analogy of you know that cancer cells ...

... are just healthy cells that are confused like they were they would otherwise be healthy cells but they're just like they're turning in the opposite direction from the rest of the way you know the the ways that the rest of your the cells in your body are facing they're just confused they're disoriented right so when we can like kind of see all of these different aspects of ourselves and wrap our arms around them like we were doing for this old rusty night it's like through the love and compassion that we have for these different parts of ourselves they get to reintegrate and become non-cancerous to continue that metaphor you know they get to join back in with the body and like you you get to reclaim that energy that otherwise would have been spent on worrying well I hope you got a lot out of that video and if you did please let me know please like comment and subscribe and keep an eye out for more videos just like this you

If you want to get rid of something, anger makes it hold on even tighter. The less aware you are, the more the worry monster jumps in to protect you. This worry is like an old knight with rusted armor who has been around your whole life, vigilant to protect you around every turn. But the more conscious you are, the less he needs to be around. You can appreciate the worry for trying to keep you safe, but you're an adult now, and don't need an old senile man protecting you. Right?
