Where to go from here

Here's where to go from here.

  1. Get the recording + join the waitlist

Sign up below and I'll send you a recording of one of my past virtual support group calls so you can hear what the format was like. I'm not running virtual groups right now, but if enough interest builds up, I'll launch one and you'll be the first to know.

You'll get the recording and my free toolkit in your confirmation email, plus a heads-up if a virtual group launches. Joins my main email list. No spam, unsubscribe anytime.

  2. Read the ebook + handouts (free)

The disclosure ebook walks through the conversation step by step. The handouts cover body anxiety, relationship questions, and the long-term identity work. Same starting point I use with my one-on-one coaching clients.

  3. Work with me one-on-one

When self-paced isn't enough, my private coaching is the deeper option. The 25-minute discovery call is $75 (33% off the regular session rate) and it's the lowest-friction way to see if we're a fit.

The history: groups that used to meet in Texas

The ASHA HELP network covered Texasfor years. Below is every chapter I've been able to document, with sources. If any of these still meet and I've marked them defunct in error, tell me on the group page and I'll update the record.

Houston HELP. Houston

Houston HELP ran out of (866) 841-9139 x2551 with houstonhelp.org as its public face and was one of the three Texas ASHA HELP chapters at the 2008 network peak (alongside Austin HELP and North Texas HELP in Arlington). By 2026 the website is dead and there's no ASHA-listed in-person Houston group. The Clear Lake Texas H Friends entry above is the modern indie Meetup-era successor for the southeast Houston metro. If you're in greater Houston and looking for the structured peer-sharing format the original HELP chapter ran, the waitlist below is how I'll know to launch one.

  2. 2026-05-19

Austin HELP. Austin

Austin HELP was one of the three Texas ASHA HELP chapters at the 2008 network peak, running out of (512) 247-5551 with austinhelp.org as its early public face. By 2015 the chapter had migrated to a Yahoo Group, which was the digital home a lot of HELP chapters used until Yahoo Groups closed and deleted member data on December 15, 2020. The austinhelp.org domain still resolves in 2026 but returns an empty placeholder. If you're in central Texas and you find a current Austin-area listing on Meetup, that's the indie successor energy; otherwise the waitlist below is the active option I can offer.

Timeline

  1. 2008-07
Listed in ASHA HELP roster with active website [source]
  2. 2015-02
Listed in ASHA roster but pointing at Austin HELP Yahoo Group as primary contact [source]
  3. 2020-12-15
Yahoo Groups shutdown deleted Austin HELP's Yahoo Group, severing the primary 2015-era contact channel [source]
  4. 2026-05-19
austinhelp.org returns an empty page; no current presence found [source]
  5. 2020-12-15
Yahoo Groups closed and deleted all member data. Austin HELP's 2015-era Yahoo Group home went dark in the same shutdown that broke San Antonio HELP, Vancouver HELP, and other Yahoo-Group-anchored chapters. [source]

North Texas HELP. Arlington

Was the only HELP chapter serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. The metro still shows steady search interest for an in-person herpes support group, but no current option is publicly listed.

Timeline

Listed in ASHA HELP roster operating c/o Planned Parenthood of North Texas in Arlington (covering Dallas-Fort Worth metro) [source]
  2. between 2008 and 2015
    Dropped from ASHA roster [source]
